The Finance Department, under the direction of the Fiscal Officer is responsible for the audit and maintenance of all Township financial records and accounts including all assets and liabilities in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Fiscal Officer is responsible for the custody, investment, and disbursement of all Township funds and follows the investment policy as established by the Board of Trustees. The Finance Department provides payroll services for all Deerfield Township employees.
