Sergeant
Chris Peters
Sgt. Chris Peters began his law enforcement career in 1996 after
graduating from the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy. In 2000,
Sgt. Peters accepted a position with The Warren County
Sheriff’s Office and was assigned to the County Road Patrol
Section. In 2001, Sgt. Peters was assigned to the Deerfield
Township Post where he remained until he was promoted to the rank of
Sergeant in February 2006. As Sergeant, he was assigned to the
County Road Patrol Section and assisted in developing the Special
Investigation Unit. While supervising the Special Investigation
Unit, he was assigned to the Ohio Organized Crime Investigation
Commission.
Sgt. Peters has attended many seminars and training
opportunities. In 2009, he graduated from the Police Executive
Leadership College. He has also successfully completed WMD Incident
Command Course with the US Department of Homeland Security,
Anniston, Alabama; Racketeering Records Analysis seminar at The
Federal Bureau of Investigation, Quantico, VA; Prevention of Police
Misconduct and Internal Affairs seminars.
Sgt. Peters has earned Warren County Sheriff’s Office Awards for
Field Training Officer, Safe Driving and Attendance. He is currently
assigned to The Deerfield Township Post.
