Æ Over the next few years as Deerfield
Township comes into compliance with Phase II of the Federal Clean Water Act,
you’ll be seeing and hearing about storm water issues. Since EPA regulations
call for educating the public, the Deerfield Regional Storm Water District
presents the following quiz to see how water-savvy you are:
1) What is a watershed?
a) an area of land that
catches rain and snow and drains into a lake or river
b) a shed built in the water
c) a device designed to shed
water such as an umbrella
2) Watersheds provide water for:

watershed?

anything into storm ditches, culverts, storm sewers, or catch basins
