Deerfield Day Frequently Asked
Questions:
What is Deerfield Day?
Deerfield Day is Deerfield Township's biggest community event, held
annually in September. This year it will be held at 5847 Irwin
Simpson Road, at Cottell Park. The festival will be held on Saturday,
September 1, 2008 from 12 Noon to 7 p.m.
What can I expect at Deerfield Day?
Deerfield Day is a family festival with approximately 100-plus
booths that offer food, business information, crafts, children's activities
and much more! We are proud to have WKRC Local 12 as our media sponsor, the return
of Murray Brothers Festival Rides, on-stage entertainment by
Robin Lacy and DeZydeco, Most Wanted, Cincinnati Zoo Show, Celebrity Showdown
(similar to American Idol), our Deerfield Honors Veterans 5K
Race/Walk, Kids Fun Run, for children ages 6 - 12.
How can I sign up for a booth?
Booth space is on a first come, first served
basis. Forms are available on this website, (Forms) and also at our
Administration Office.
How is booth placement determined?
Booths will be arranged according to electricity needs, in compliance with
fire code regulations. The booths will be located around the circular drive at
the park, so basically every booth space is a good location!
How many people usually attend?
Crowds have averaged between 2,000-3,000 patrons.
How long has Deerfield Day been around?
This year will be our ninth Deerfield Day.
