Deerfield Township is a safer community in
which to drive, thanks to Sergeant John Faine and his deputies. The
Board of Trustees recognized Faine May 6 after he was designated Top
Cop by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Their efforts to crack
down on drunk drivers have resulted in an outstanding number of arrests.
Faine was one of only twenty officers in southwest Ohio to receive the
