Safety Town Comes to Deerfield Township June 2, 9

April 17, 2008 – Does your child know how to safely cross the street? Does he know what to do when confronted by a stranger?  These and other important safety skills will be taught during the weeks of June 2and June 9 during Safety Town at Deerfield Township Cottell Park. Five and six-year olds are invited to attend either a morning session from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, or an afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

There are two ways to register your child: stop by the Township Administration office, 4900 Parkway Drive, Suite 150, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and complete a registration form; or mail registration to the same address. No registrations accepted by email or on the day of the event. Sessions are limited to 25 children, and Township residents will be given priority registration. Special needs children must have an attendant present during the session.

For more information call D.A.R.E./Crime Prevention Officer Don McGlothlin at 513.623.8875 or Public Education Specialist Curt Frazee at 513.678.2292.
