Officer in Charge
Lt. Brian Tinch was hired
as Deerfield Township Post Commander in 2007. He graduated from Lebanon High
School in 1992, and is a lifelong resident of Warren County. He began his
career in law enforcement
in 1993
as a cadet
with the Warren County
Sheriff’s Office while attending Sinclair Community College, and
graduated from the Miami Township Montgomery County Police Academy in April
1995. He became a full time deputy in August 1996, earned the rank of
sergeant in March 2000, and earned the rank of lieutenant in January 2006.
Lt. Tinch is a graduate of the Police Executive Leadership College and has
successfully completed numerous training courses throughout his career.
He
received the Buckeye State
Sheriff’s Association Award for Distinguished Service, accommodations for
five years' perfect attendance and safe driving. Prior to earning the rank
of sergeant, he served as a field training officer for several years. Lt.
Tinch has proudly served his entire law enforcement career with the Warren
