
D.A.R.E./Crime
Prevention Officer Don McGlothlin
Officer Don McGlothlin was
assigned as Deerfield Township's Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.)
and Crime Prevention officer in 2002. McGlothlin teaches 400 sixth-grade
students at Saint Margaret of York and Columbia Elementary schools.
McGlothlin served as a police officer for the City of
Montgomery and has been in law enforcement for 27 years. He was instrumental in
implementing a D.A.R.E. program for home schooled children in Warren County, one
of the first of its kind in the nation.
In addition to D.A.R.E., Officer McGlothlin teaches business
owners and residents how to safeguard their establishments against crime, and
help organize a Neighborhood Watch Program. He can be reached at (513) 697-2740.
