(Right) Deerfield Township Cemetery
workers typically show their care and concern every day, but
recently went the extra step. A rare glass monument dating
from 1862 was recently restored to its original beauty. After
vandals broke the monument in 1976, the piece sat in disrepair until
October 2005. Crew member Mark Steiner painstakingly put the hundreds of glass
pieces back together in just three days.
