The Zoning Commission meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Board members receive $50 per meeting in attendance paid at the end of each calendar year. The Zoning Commission is responsible for initiating text and map amendments, reviewing all planned unit developments, making recommendations to the Board of Trustees for amendments and planned unit developments, and approving site plans for compliance with the Deerfield Township Zoning Resolution. The Board of Zoning Appeals is comprised of five board members with an additional alternate board member for times when a board member is absent. The Board of Zoning Appeals meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Board members receive $50 per meeting in attendance paid at the end of each calendar year. The Board of Zoning Appeals is responsible for administrative appeals to the decision of the Zoning Inspector, variances from the terms of the Zoning Resolution, conditional use permits, review and continuation of non-conforming uses, and the revocation of permits.
