Trustee Kuvin called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Trustee Speidel was present. Trustee Reed was absent with prior notice due to a conflict of interest. Also present were Kristin Spiekerman, the Clerk, Greg Horwedel, Administrator and Doug Miller, Law Director.
Gary Knight gave the invocation. Trustee Speidel led in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Tim Mara, legal representative of residents opposed to the proposed Wal-Mart, made a presentation. Trustee Kuvin questioned Mr. Mara.
Joe Trauth, legal representative of the applicant, Wal-Mart, questioned Tim Mara.
David Oakes, Chief Engineer for Wal-Mart, questioned Tim Mara. Tim Mara objected to being questioned by David Oakes.
Aaron Matson and Debra Sullivan, with CESO and representing Wal-Mart, each questioned Tim Mara.

During public comments, there was cross-examination by Joe Trauth, legal representative of the applicant, Wal-Mart and by Tim Mara, legal representative of residents opposed to the proposed Wal-Mart. There was also discussion with the Trustees.
The Trustees discussed dates for future hearings.
A motion by Trustee Kuvin and second by Trustee Speidel to continue the hearing until May 12, 2004, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Motion carried.
