Trustee Romano called the meeting to order at 12:10 p.m. All members of the Board were present. Also present were Kristin Spiekerman, the Fiscal Officer, Dan Evers, Administrator and Tom Swope, Law Director.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to enter executive session to discuss real estate acquisition. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to return to regular session. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to adopt Resolution Number 2006-14 A Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of Approximately 100 Acres of Real Property, Located at 4188 Irwin Simpson Road, Mason, Ohio 45040; Authorizing the Township Administrator to Enter into a Contract to Purchase Said Property From Likes Family Limited Partnership for Eight Million Dollars ($8,000,000.00) Under the Terms and Conditions Specified in Attachment A; Dispensing with the Second Reading and Declaring an Emergency. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to adjourn the meeting at 1:10 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
