Regular Meeting
Trustee Romano called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. All members of the Board were present. Also present were Kristin Spiekerman, the Fiscal Officer, Dan Evers, Administrator and Tom Swope, Law Director.
Trustee Speidel led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Presentation
Richard Jones, a representative of the Warren County Park Board, made a request for the annual contribution to the Park Board.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to approve a donation to the Warren County Parks for calendar year 2007 in the amount of $34,000. Motion carried unanimously.

A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Purchase Orders 10420-2, 10424-2, 10436-3, 10462-7, 10621, 10623 and 10624. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Warrants #49445 through 49531. Motion carried unanimously.
Board Action – New Business
Public Relations
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to authorize Township Administrator Dan Evers to accept the bid from Flottman Printing to design, print and mail the 2007 Township Calendar at a cost not to exceed $9,500. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to authorize the Township Administrator to execute an agreement for community access broadcasting with WKRC TV Local 12 subject to annual appropriation. Motion carried unanimously.
Parks
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to accept the high bid of $610,000 submitted by Mark Altemier and to deposit the $610,000 into the General Fund Account. On roll call: Trustee Romano-yes, Trustee Corey-yes, Trustee Speidel-abstain. Motion carried.
Fire Department
A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to accept the donation of $1,500 from Wal-Mart and to approve the purchase of two Landice L8 LTD Pro Sport Treadmills from Exercise and Leisure at a cost of $7,190 and to authorize the Township Administrator to execute any necessary purchase agreements. On roll call: Trustee Romano-yes, Trustee Corey-yes, Trustee Speidel-no. Motion carried.
Administration
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to authorize Township Administrator Dan Evers to execute the Transitional WorkGRANTS$ Program Agreement and to approve implementation of the Deerfield Township Transitional Work Policy. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to accept the WCSO 2007 Addendum for Payroll Expenses in the amount of $1,564,350. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to authorize the Township Administrator to execute the attached joint participation agreement between Deerfield Township and the City of Mason OH. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve the Annual Township Highway System Mileage Certification (2006) as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Community Development
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to accept the Conservation Easement document as prepared. Motion carried unanimously.
Approval of Minutes
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve the meeting minutes of November 8, 2006, November 14, 2006 and the November 21, 2006. Motion carried unanimously.

Executive Session
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to enter Executive Session to discuss collective bargaining, employment contract, litigation and real estate. Motion carried unanimously.
