Regular Meeting
Trustee Romano called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. All members of the Board were present. Also present were Kristin Spiekerman, the Fiscal Officer, Dan Evers, Administrator and Tom Swope, Law Director.
Trustee Corey led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Fiscal Officer – Kristin Spiekerman
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to approve the payment of $25,543.70 to C.U.C. for reimbursement of funds relative to the Arbor Square TIF project to be paid from the General Reserve TIF account. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to remove Jennifer Wagner from the initial probationary period in recognition of successfully completing the probation and to increase her rate of pay to $18.11 per hour. Motion carried unanimously.
Community Development
There was discussion on the request for qualifications update.
Administration
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Resolution 2006-78 A Resolution Providing for compensation to the Township Trustees, Dispensing with the Second Reading and Declaring an Emergency. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Resolution 2006-79 A Resolution Establishing Mileage Allowance for Township Employees and Providing for Reimbursement Expenses, Dispensing with the Second Reading and Declaring an Emergency. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Resolution 2006-80 A Resolution Authorizing Payment for Association Dues and Dispensing with the Second Reading. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Resolution 2006-81 A Resolution Setting Trustee Meeting Dates and Times, Dispensing with the Second Reading and Declaring an Emergency. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Resolution 2006-82 A Resolution Setting the Township Fiscal Officer’s Salary and Benefits and Dispensing with the Second Reading. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Resolution 2006-83 A Resolution Providing Insurance Benefits to the Township Trustees and Fiscal Officer, Dispensing with the Second Reading and Declaring an Emergency. Motion carried unanimously.
The Board reviewed the proposed 2007 operating budget.

A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Purchase Orders 10629, 10631, 10632, 10633 and 10639. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to approve Warrants 49532 through 49630. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to adjourn the meeting at 2:25 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
