Regular Meeting
Trustee Corey called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. All members of the Board were present. Also present were Dan Evers, Administrator and Tom Swope, Law Director. The Fiscal Officer, Kristin Spiekerman, was absent.
Executive Session
A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Speidel to enter executive session to discuss pending/threatened litigation and collective bargaining. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Speidel and second by Trustee Corey to appoint Dan Evers to take minutes. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to return to regular session. Motion carried unanimously.
Trustee Romano led the Pledge of Allegiance.
A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Speidel to appoint Peggy Monjar to take minutes. Motion carried unanimously.
Public Comments/Presentations
Gil Adkins, 296 Hattswank Road, Loveland, spoke about a drainage problem on his property.
Fiscal Officer
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Purchase Orders #10722-3, 10927 through 10930. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Warrants #51590 through 51676. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to authorize the Fiscal Officer, Kristin Spiekerman, to pay the Mason City School District $850,579.03 from the appropriate TIF fund as determined by the Fiscal Officer. Motion carried unanimously.

Community Development
Lois McKnight, Community Development Director, read a letter from McGill Smith Pushon requesting to table the agenda item, Case No. 2007-427, Stage 1 Map Amendment from R-SF to N-B PUD.
A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Speidel to table the agenda item Case No. 2007-427 Stage 1 Map Amendment from R-SF to N-B PUD.
Motion carried unanimously.
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve Resolution 2007-75 A Second Resolution Modifying Resolution 2007-26. Motion carried unanimously.
Fire Department
A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Speidel to authorize the purchase of the outlined 83 sections of fire hose from Command Seagrave at a cost of $10,490. Motion carried unanimously.
Public Works
A motion by Trustee Speidel and second by Trustee Romano to accept for public maintenance the streets Ashmont Section 1, 2 and 3. Motion carried unanimously.
Minutes for Approval
A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Speidel to approve the meeting minutes of October 16, 2007 and October 26, 2007 as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Consent Agenda
Human Resources
A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to authorize Firefighter Steven Stein to register and attend the Pride and Ownership Seminar offered by Colerain Township Speakers Bureau at a cost not to exceed $75. Motion carried unanimously.
