Deerfield Township Board of Trustee Meetings
We welcome residents and visitors to meetings of the
Deerfield Township Board of Trustees. With the exception of
Executive Sessions, all Board meetings are open to the
public.
The Board has adopted Rules of Procedure and follows a
pre-set meeting agenda. Please note that the agenda order
may be re-arranged to accommodate special circumstances or
needs.
Citizens may address the Board under the “Public Comment”
section of the agenda. The Board believes wise decisions
can best be made in an atmosphere that allows for
constructive public debate, and therefore requests that
everyone attending a meeting observe the following:
The following guidelines protect your rights as well as
those of others:
1.
Speakers must state their name and address for the
record.
2.
The presiding officer of the Board will recognize
each speaker, and only one person may speak at a time.
3.
Speakers will have five minutes to address the
Board. (That limit may be extended at the discretion of a
majority of the Board.)
4.
Anyone who willfully disrupts a Board meeting may be
barred from speaking further, or may be removed from the
meeting and detained by deputies of the Warren County
Sheriff’s office. (ORC 505.09; ORC 2917.12)
