A board of three trustees governs Deerfield Township. The trustees are each
elected for a four-year term. In recent years, the Administration has made
great strides in creating the framework for an efficient, well-run government
facing tremendous growth and change.

Mission Statement:
"We, the elected leaders and employees of Deerfield Township, will continually plan for and provide friendly, professional and efficient services to our citizens. We seek balance, compromise and civility between competing needs and priorities. We recognize that our citizens have hopes, concerns and expectations regarding the quality of their lives and the quality of the community of Deerfield Township. Through our actions, we honor the confidence and trust placed in us by our fellow citizens."
