Previous message below:

At 11:00 PM last night (Wednesday, November 14th) all Deerfield Township road crews reported with an initial focus on salting and deicing the Township roadways.

The freezing rain we received overnight has led to multiple road closures and power outages due to downed tree limbs and debris.

We are currently focusing our efforts to clear the roadways of debris in order to reopen the current closures and avoid any additional closures.

With that said, we are not conducting our yard clipping and brush removal today. We will be sending out a revised brush removal schedule in the coming days.

If you are currently experiencing a power outage please call Duke Energy at 1-800-543-5599 or visit https://www.duke-energy.com/outages for more information.
